“About 300 British personnel are already in the country helping in the training of Iraqi and Kurdish forces.”

UK Defense Secretary Michael Fallon in a statement, said, “The troops deployment would add to the UK’s significant contribution to its stand against ISIS,” adding, “Our strike aircraft have now conducted around 900 air strikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria and our intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft provide niche and highly-valued capabilities.”
