FM Undersecretary, Syrian Ambassador to Iraq discuss bilateral relations, Syrian crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations, Nizar al-Khairallah discussed with Ambassador of Syria to Iraq, Sattam Jad’an, the relations between both countries and the Syrian crisis.

A statement by the FM reported “The FM Undersecretary listened, during the meeting, to the Syrian Ambassador’s speech about the Syrian crisis and its consequences and the different attitudes of the world countries towards the crisis and the splits the Syrian opposition are witnessing encouraged by the foreign agendas which seek to ruin Syria, attributing the delay in holding the 2nd Geneva Conference to the opposition’s failure to form a unified team to represent them due to the internal splits.”

Khairallah stressed that “Iraq is with the aspirations of the Syrian people and the freedom of expression away from the military solutions and the foreign interferences.”
