Hakim assures to Nasrawi, importance to provide best services to Basra citizens

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed presenting the best services to the citizens of Basra.

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Hakim received Basra Governor, Majid al-Nasrawi, at his office in Baghdad on Monday.”

“Hakim praised the efforts of Basra Local Government for its plans to end Basra citizens’ suffering and called for cooperation among all sides to upgrade the situation in the economic capital of Iraq,” the statement added.

“For his part, Nasrawi briefed Hakim over the means to develop the services in the province and the projects in services field,” the statement concluded.
