Hakim, Fadhila delegation discuss political conditions

Baghdad ( The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, received a delegation from Fadhila Islamic Party, headed by The Secretary General of the Party, Hashim al-Hashimi, at his office in Baghdad on Wednesday.

A statement by the SIIC received by cited “Hakim and the delegation discussed the political conditions in the country and the means of developing the strong relations between the SIIC and the FIP.”

“Both sides stressed the necessity of unifying the stances and to adopt the direct meetings in addition to avoiding the media escalation,” the statement continued.

“For their parts, the members of the FIP delegations expressed their appreciation for Hakim’s national stances to create harmony among the political sides,” the statement concluded.
