Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Nouri al-Maliki, and the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed the latest political updates.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com “Hakim congratulated Maliki on his new post where they discussed the latest political and security updates after the formation of the new government,” he added.

“Maliki praised Hakim’s efforts for bringing the various views closer and urging the Kurdish ministers to attend the meetings of the Council of Ministers,” the statement concluded. /End/
