Hakim, Nasrawi discuss services situation in Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of granting full authorities to the local governments.

A statement by the SIIC received by All Iraq News cited “Hakim met with the Governor of Basra Province, Majid al-Nasrawi, where he stressed the necessity of granting the local governments the full authorities.”

“For his part, Nasrawi updated Hakim with the latest projects in the province, appreciating Hakim’s advices and continued calls for the citizens’ rights,” the statement concluded.
