Hakim stresses necessity of consolidating unity among Iraqis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with a delegation from Anbar province, comprises chieftains and key figures of Anbar, the latest political updates in Iraq.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received a delegation from Anbar province that comprises the chieftains and the key figures of the province on Thursday where he stressed the necessity of consolidating the unity among the Iraqi constituents and achieve the legitimate demands of the demonstrations according to the law and the constitution.”

“The delegation appreciated Hakim’s role and initiative to preserve the unity of Iraq and his adherence to settle the political crisis in Iraq,” the statement concluded.
