Hakim stresses necessity of updating security plans

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stated that the elections are means to achieve the interests of the citizens and not an aim for Shaheed al-Muhrab Trend.

While heading the extended Shura meeting of Shaheed al-Muhrab Trend, Hakim stressed the necessity of “Making the citizens optimistic and hopeful over the next period.”

“The security breaches in Iraq prove the aim of terrorism,” he added, noting that “The security plans must be changed and activated to face terrorism and win.”

He called to “Prepare for the holy Moharam month and make use of its morals.”
