Hakim, Turkmen delegation discuss ratifying laws that belong to Turkmens in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, called to apply the laws that concern the Turkmens in Iraq.

A statement by the SIIC cited “During welcoming a delegation from the Turkmen Front, Hakim stressed the necessity to implement the laws that concern the Turkmens as soon as possible to compensate this oppressed component of the Iraqi people.”

“For his part, Arshad al-Salihi, head of the Turkmen Front , commended Hakim’s interest in the Turkmen component in Iraq, applauding his honorable attitude in defending all the Iraqi people’s components indiscriminatingly,” the statement concluded. /End
