Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, Humam Hamoudi, handed over a letter from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to the Sudanese President, Omer al-Bashir, over developing the mutual relations.

A statement by Hamoudi’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday “Hamoudi handed over Maliki’s letter to Bashir over developing the bilateral relations in the political and economical levels.”

“The letters referred to the historical relations between the two countries in the Arab and Islamic communities in addition to the need to exchange the visits,” the statement added, noting that “Bashir reviewed the regional updates and the Iraqi ones in particular.”

“Hamoudi revealed that Maliki and Bashir will visit each other, assuring that a meeting for the experts committee of the two countries will be held in the next few days,” he concluded.
