NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: The Honor Accord Referendum, called for by its leader Muqtada al-Sadr, has started with the participation of 1500 workers, the Sadrist Trend announced today. A Sadrist source told IraqiNews.com that the referendum is being carried out by Tomorrow’s Iraq Organization alone, without any intervention from the Sadrist Trend. The organization was chosen by the Parliamentary NGOs Commission. Najaf was divided into 8 sectors. A Sadrist leader had earlier called to adopt the Honor Accord by he political entities, who agreed to it. Najaf city lies 160 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
