Human Rights Committee calls to pursue killers of 5 soldiers in Anbar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Human Rights Parliamentary Committee called to investigate the murder of five Iraqi Army soldiers in Anbar and to pursue the killers to hand them over to the judicial authorities.

A statement by the Committee received by IraqiNews.com “The Committee condemns attacking the unarmed soldiers by the armed groups in Anbar,” confirming that “The victims are Iraqis and they were tasked to protect the country from terrorism.”

The Committee called to “investigate the crime and to follow up the criminals behind it.”

It is worth mentioning that five soldiers were killed and others injured when an armed group attacked them near the demonstrators’ square in Ramadi.
