IIP stresses continuation in supporting Anbar demonstrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Islamic Party announced the continuation of their support for Anbar people in their demonstrations and sit-ins.

The IIP cited in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “The participation of the Party’s leaders and cadres is going on in the demonstrations and sit-ins that are launched in Anbar province to protest arresting the guards of the Finance Minister, Rafa al-Issawi, the leading figure in the Iraqiya Slate.”

“The aggression and injustice reached a level that cannot be tolerated,” the statement added.

Anbar province has witnessed, over the few past days, popular demonstrations to protest the arrest of a number of Issawi’s guards.
