Integrity Commission neglected governmental corruption – MP

BAGHDAD / The National Dialogue bloc, affiliate to the Iraqiya bloc, called the political blocs to seriously face the corruption, pointing out that the annual Integrity Commission report did not treat governmental funds embezzlement. Spokesman MP Haidar Al-Mulla said in a press conference, attended by, that the annual report neglected cases committed against public funds, particularly governmental estates. He pointed out that the report did not tackle the great amounts of money got by the parties by unknown means, as well as the appointments on bases of relations and sectarianism. MP Mulla elaborated that there are weaknesses in legal procedures in combating financial  and administrative corruption, “so the political entities should seriously confront the monstrous corruption.” RM (TI)/SR Number of Reads:150
