Iqbal calls Iraqi Government of presenting inclusive initative to address crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed Iqbal of the Wasat Alliance within the Iraqiya Slate called on the Iraqi Government and the other political blocs to present an inclusive initiative to resolve the current crisis, describing Falluja incident as serious omen.

Iqbal stated to Iraqi News “The Government and the other political sides are requested to present an integrated initiative to address the crisis within the legal and constitutional framework and through specifying it by a time limit for implementation.”

He emphasized that “The clash that occurred between the army forces and the demonstrators in Falluja district of Anbar proves the failure of the military body in containing the masses.”

“We demand to remove the army forces out of the cities and entrust the security to the local police,” he concluded.
