Iran denies providing military support to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister, Hussein Amir, stated that the reports over sending Iranian military troops to Iraq are groundless.

He stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The reports over sending the Iranian troops to Iraq are groups and the Iraqi forces are able to defeat the terrorist groups.”

Earlier, Reuters and IraqiNews.com sources stated that Iran is ready to cooperate with USA to send its troop to Iraq.
