Iranian VP meets Speaker to discus issues of mutual interests

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Visiting Iranian First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri met Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim Abdullah al-Jabouri on Monday and discussed with him issues of mutual interest, especially parliamentary relations.

According to media report, Jahangiri who is heading a high ranking delegation to participate in Iran-Iraq Supreme Joint Commission session in his evening meeting with al-Jabouri agreed with him on the need to further broaden the two countries’ economic cooperation, as the most important axis of bilateral ties.

Before that meeting the Iranian first vice president had a meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister Heydar al-Ebadi.

After the meeting with Speaker al-Jabouri, Jahangiri had a meeting with the Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari. /End/
