Iraq Embassy in Cairo organizes seminar on terrorism

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo organized a seminar discussion on political and security dimensions and religious thought and practices of so-called Daash organization, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq and its representative to the Arab League, Mr. Dhia Dabbas with the participation of Arab and foreign diplomats and elite of intellectuals and politicians.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News cited “The Ambassador pointed to the heinous crimes committed by this organization in the name of Islam which included all religions and nationalities, warning the world from the dangers of the practices of this organization, the matter which needs to concert efforts of everyone to fight and eliminate this criminal organization.”

“The participants in the seminar, who represent the Egyptian universities and religious institutions warned from the deviant thought and its expansionist aims, which is consistent with the Israel’s expansionist thought and goals. Political thinker Mustafa al-Fiqi called everyone to search for what is happening in the region and those who get the benefit of it,” the statement concluded. /End/
