Iraq, KSA conclude agreement to exchange prisoners

(IraqiNews.com) Iraq and Saudi Arabia concluded an agreement to exchange the prisoners between both countries to let them spend their sentence periods in their countries.

The Saudi (SPA) News Agency reported on Monday “The agreement was signed by the Saudi Minister of Interior, Mohamed bin Nayef Abdulaziz and the Iraqi Justice Minister, Hassan al-Shimmari who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

“The Saudi Minister held a meeting with Shimmari last night in Jidda and discussed with him the issues of mutual interest for both countries,” according to the report.

“The two sides concluded an agreement to transfer the convicts between both countries within the Riyadh Agreement for Judicial Cooperation for 1983,” according to the SPA.
