Iraq’s Embassy in South Africa holds Symposium over terrorist groups

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Embassy in Pretoria organized a symposium on fighting extremism and terrorism. Present at the symposium were official and civilian figures and diplomats accredited to South Africa.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “The attendees discussed the eruption of the extreme and terrorist groups and the nature of the liberation movements and their effect on societies.”

“Ambassador Hisham Al Alawi reviewed topics on the ancient and modern Iraq, referring that the terror that attacks Iraq now and calling on the world countries to dry out sources of terrorism and to lay a comprehensive strategy to handle the reasons of violence and extremism and condemn the violations of human rights,” the statement concluded. /End/
