Federal Government to coordinate with Kurdish Peshmerga forces, says Fayadh

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Central Government confirmed its coordination with Kurdish Peshmerga Forces regarding the fight against the elements of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.

The National Security Advisor, Falih al-Fayadh, stated in a press conference attended by IraqiNews.com reporter “Peshmerga forces are official systemic forces within the Iraqi Defense System.”

“The Federal Government and the Kurdistan Regional Government are in agreement over the necessity of sustaining the national security in the country,” he concluded.
