Iraqi Foreign Minister receives new Chinese ambassador to Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari received on Wednesday a copy of the documents of the new Chinese ambassador to Baghdad Chen Wei Qing, stressing the importance of coordination to increase the volume of trade with Beijing.

Jaafari’s media office said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari received, today, a copy of the adoption of the new Chinese ambassador to Baghdad Chen Wei Qing,” explaining that, “The meeting reviewed the progress of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Beijing and ways of strengthening the relations in the interest of the two friendly nations.”
