Iraqiya Slate’s leading figures discuss political crisis, demonstrators demands

Baghdad ( A meeting comprising leaders and members of the Iraqiya Slate was held on Monday at the office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Salih al-Mutleg where the conferees discussed the political situation in Iraq and the file of the current demonstrations witnessed by some Iraqi provinces, stressing their uphold to these protests.

A statement by Mutleg’s office reported that “The head of the IS, Ayad Allawi reviewed, during the meeting, the internal and external political problems and their ramifications on the Iraqi street, emphasizing the importance of answering the demonstrators’ demands.”

“Allawi called the IS political office to intensify its meetings to unify their stances and efforts in line with the Iraqi people’s interests,” according to the statement.
