IS: Demonstrators call for just amendment to J&A law, not canceling it

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqiya Slate denied the demand of the demonstrators of the western provinces to cancel the Justice and Accountability law.

The spokesperson of the IS, Haider al-Mula, stated in a press conference “The citizens of the western provinces did not call for canceling the J&A law, but to amend it in a just way,” noting that “If this law was implemented correctly, there will not be any calls to cancel it.”

“We support the demonstrations wherever they are, but the demonstrators must not resume sectarianism as in 2006 and not to apply the Syrian situation in Iraq,” he pointed out, calling “Not to use the force against the demonstrators and the government to adhere to their demands in a constitutional and legal way.”
