Baghdad ( MP Mudhir al-Janabi of the Iraqiya Slate criticized the intention of the western provinces’ demonstrators to perform unified Friday prayer in Baghdad.

Janabi said “The call to hold unified prayer on next Friday by the demonstrators from all the Iraqi provinces needs security arrangement and suitable sites for it.”

“It is not possible for millions of demonstrators to gather in Baghdad amid the security instability since it will allow the corrupted people and terrorists to penetrate their gathering,” he added.

“The government needs to meet the demonstrators’ demands whether in Baghdad or any other province,” Janabi concluded.

The demonstrators of Anbar province have announced that they intend to hold unified prayer in Abu Hanifa mosque in central Baghdad on next Friday.
