IS MP rules of dismissing Nijaifi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, of the Iraqiya Slate ruled out dismissing the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” We do not know whether there are signatures collected to dismiss Nijaifi or not,” noting that “The MPs have different stances regarding this issue.”

“If the signatures are collected, they will not be able to achieve the legal number to dismiss Nijaifi,” he added, assuring that “The current situation requires reformations in all the constituents of the political process.”

Earlier, the SLC announced gathering 120 signatures to dismiss Nijaifi.
