IS MP rules out refuting elections law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hamza al-Kartani, of the Iraqiya Slate ruled out the refuting the Elections law.

Kartani stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We do not expect any rejection for the Elections law where it preserved the rights of the minorities and the Federal Court will not refute it because it does not violate the constitution.”

“Adopting Sante Lego system in the Elections law will guarantee the participation of all major and minor blocs in the parliament and there will be a just distribution to the votes,” he added.

“Holding the counting process of the votes at the electoral centers is a good point where it will reduce the forgery attempts to the elections results,” he concluded.
