IS MP: Talabani, Maliki, Nijaifi work for their blocs away from national interest

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Kamil al-Dulaimi, of the Iraqiya Slate stated that the President, Jalal Talabani, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki and the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, are working for their blocs and not for the national interest.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Not all the demonstrators are acquainted with the laws of the State and the constitution where each one of them expresses his demands in his own way and the parliament and the government must adhere to these demands according to the law and the constitution,” noting that “The government is responding to the government and there are attempts to avoid the consequences of the demonstrations.”

“We need to have a real settlement to the current political crisis and this settlement can be achieved through conducting the dialogue and discussing all the pending issues,” he added, assuring that “We also need to re-evaluate the performance of the government and the parliament.”

“Talabani, Maliki and Nijaifi are restricted in some issues where they work for the interest of their blocs and not for the national interest,” he concluded.
