iya bloc isolation not expected – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com:  An al-Iraqiya Bloc MP said that his Bloc’s “exclusion from the political process will create a negative reaction at the Iraqi public”. In comments to IraqiNews.com, MP Saleem al-Jbouri excluded such a move by the National Alliance. “The interest of the National Alliance to stick to al-Iraqiya Bloc, otherwise it will denote the failure of all active forces in the arena,” he added. Commenting on Premier Nouri al-Maliki’s comments criticizing political entities who “support terrorism and the government alike,” he  added that “theoretically we approve of this but differ in his description, because we do not know who is meant in these words?” Iraq is passing through a big political crisis amid the accusations uttered against vice-president Tariq al-Hashimi, the prominent leader in Iraqiya bloc, accusing him with “terrorist acts” and issuing arrest warrants against him, in addition to demoting deputy-premier Saleh al-Mutlaq, at a time the Iraqi capital suffered last week a number of terrorist attacks that resulted in 75 killed and 200 wounded citizens. Added to all these points, the political and security tensions for not solving the security posts, though one year passed since the formation of the new government, due to differences between the State of Law and Iraqiya blocs, for nominating security ministries and the implementation of Arbil agreements. 83
