Jaafary, Ebadi stress speeding up forming new cabinet

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, and the Prime Minister-designate, Haider al-Ebadi, discussed the necessity of conducting dialogues with the other political sides to nominate their candidates for the Ministerial post within the new cabinet.

A statement by Jaafary’s office received by Iraqi News cited “Jaafary received Ebadi at his office in Baghdad.”

“They emphasized the importance of speeding up forming the new cabinet according to the constitutional timelines and to reach agreement on a qualified governmental program to settle the security, economic and political problems,” the statement concluded. /End/
