Jumaili calls to replace head of Seven-Side Ministerial Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wihda al-Jumaili, of the Iraqiya Slate called to replace the head of the Seven-Side Ministerial Committee, Hussien al-Shihristani, because he did not implement any of the demonstrators’ demands.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “If the Government is seriously willing to respond to the demonstrators’ demands, it should replace Shihristani with a tribal figure who can submit his recommendation to the executive sides.”

“In case the formation of this Committee was to waste time, the public demonstrations will go on before such useless governmental efforts,” she continued.

“The Government will lose its legitimacy and second loser is the people who will keep on their demonstrations for longer time till implementing their demands,” she concluded.
