Kartani: Authority in Iraq, based on sectarian basis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hamza al-Kartani, of the Iraqiya Slate stated that the authority in Iraq is based on the sectarian and not partnership basis.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There is no serious intention by the government to respond to the demonstrators’ demands where the return of the Minister of the IS to the meetings of the Council of Ministers depends on responding to these demands.”

“The Ministers of the IS are adherent to the performance of the government, but we do not see any interest in responding to these demands where the issue of the judge, Midhat al-Mahmoud, and the visit of the Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi became more important than the demands,” he concluded.
