Key figure within Maliki’s party splits in Thi-Qar

Thi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) A source within the Dawa Islamic Party headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, revealed that a prominent figure within DIP in Thi-Qar split.

The source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Hamoud Abdul Hassan known as Abu al-Huda al-Shatri, was split from the DIP in Thi-Qar.”

“Shatri’s decision was due to his feeling in the discrimination and marginalization by the other members of the DIP in the province,” the source concluded.
