Khalidi denies reaching agreement over endorsing important law in single deal

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament reporter, Mohamed al-Khalidi, denied reaching agreement over endorsing the important laws in a single deal.

In a press conference held at the parliament attended by IraqiNews.com reporter, he said “There is no agreement in this regard but the blocs agreed upon endorsing the laws that concern the citizens directly.”

“The parliament rejects endorsing the laws through a single deal against the Iraqis’ interests,” he added.

“The blocs agreed upon presenting the disputed laws for first and second reading then for a vote inside the parliament,” he assured.

“190 law drafts were endorsed in the former stage,” he concluded.
