Khuzai, French Ambassador discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad ( The Vice President, Khudhair al-Khuzai discussed with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Denny Goyer the bilateral relations between both countries and the issues of common interest.

A statement by Khuzai’s office cited “Khuzai received the French Ambassador at his office in Baghdad where they discussed the Iraqi-French bilateral relations as well as discussing a number of issues of mutual interest for both countries.”

During talking about the tensions in Iraq, the VP stressed that “The Iraqi Government is earnest in addressing all the pending issues related to the current protests,” noting that “The Government formed ministerial commissions to follow up the demonstrators’ demands and meet the legitimate among them.”

For his part, Goyer expressed trust in the Iraqi Government’s ability to overcome the crisis, appreciating Khuzai’s efforts to resolve the crisis experienced by Iraq.
