Khuzayi, Shawis discuss political crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice President, Khudhaiyr al-Khuzayi called the political blocs to support the political process and the Government so as to achieve its main duties.

On the sidelines of his meeting with the Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs Ruz Nouri Shawis, Khuzayi said “The political blocs need to abandon all the partisan and personal interests and care about the citizens’ interests through supporting the Government in assuming its tasks,” confirming “The current disputes cannot be settled through tensed media statements which revoke the Iraqi people and give rise to the tensions but rather they could be resolved through the constructive dialogue.”

For his part, “Shawis appreciated the role played by the Presidency office in bring the different views closer among the dispute sides.”
