Kirkuk assures continuity in constructing security tunnel

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Kirkuk province, Najim il-Din Karim, assured the continuity in constructing security tunnel in Kirkuk.

A statement by Kirkuk Governorate received by IraqiNews.com cited “Karim held a meeting in Tuesday in presence of the Security Commission within Kirkuk Provincial Council and his Deputy, Rakan Said, in addition to some security officials.”

The statement quoted Karim, as saying “We are holding the first security meeting after assassinating the member of Kirkuk PC, Abdudallha al-Asi, where his loss is great to Kirkuk and we assure that we will go on constructing the security tunnel in Kirkuk province.”

He called to “Strengthening the security plans to face terrorism and provide security to the citizens.”
