Kobler arrives at Kirkuk to discuss provincial elections

Kirkuk ( The UN Secretary General Special Representative for Iraq Martin Kobler, arrived to the Iraqi province of Kirkuk to discuss the launch of the local elections in the province. correspondent reported on Tuesday that “Kobler has arrived to Kirkuk to meet the political sides within Kirkuk Provincial Council and to discuss the issue of conducting the provincial elections in the province.”

Earlier, the head of the Turkmen Front, MP Arshad al-Salihi has revealed on last Monday about an agreement that was reached recently between the Arabs and the Kurds against the Turkmen through their intention to adopt the electoral register of 2010 instead of 2004.
