Kurdistan Region deals with CG as another State rather than as Region, says Dulaimi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Kamil al-Dulaimi, accused Kurdistan Region as dealing with the Central Government as another State rather than as a Region.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The statements launched by the Kurds reflect their intention to announce Kurdistan State,” noting that “These statements were exaggerated but they must be belittled.”

“We do not think that Kurdistan Region is expanding at the expense of the other provinces and changing the names of the Iraqi areas into Kurdistani or Arabic areas because Kurdistan is a part of Iraq,” he added.

Concerning the exchanged statement between the CG and the Kurdistan RegionG, he said “No political side is adherent to the avoidance of the media escalation.”

“We must not limit ourselves to the statements rather we should adhere to the constitution,” he concluded.
