Kurdistan Region parliament calls Finnish parliament to formally recognize genocide of Kurdish people

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by IraqiNews.com cited “During a meeting between the delegation of Human Rights Committee in Kurdistan Parliament and the secretary of the Finnish Parliament Annika Sariku, Kurdistan Region parliament called the Finnish Parliament to formally recognize the genocide committed by the Baath regime against the Kurdish people soon.”

“The members of the delegation explained in detail the situation in the Kurdistan Region and the human rights situation in it,” the statement concluded.
