Kurdistan Region PM concludes his visit to Iran

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Nijirvan Barzani, returned to Kurdistan Region after finishing his visit to Iran.

A statement by the Kurdistani Regional Government received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday cited “Barzani and the accompanying delegation returned to Kurdistan Region on Monday night after conducting a visit to Iraq that lasted two days.”

Barzani and the accompanying delegation visited Iran on Sunday where they held several meetings with the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, the Ahmedinejad’s Assistant for the International Affairs, Ali Said Lo, the parliament Speaker, Ali Larijani, the Foreign Minister, Ali Akbar Salihi, and the head of the Supreme Council for the National Security, Said Jalili.

The two sides discussed the historical relations and the means of developing them in the economic, commercial, political and social fields in addition to the regional issues and the Iraqi political issues in particular.
