Kurdistan Region ruling parties, opposition movement discuss setting mechanism for dialogue

Sulaimaniya ( The Premier of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Najervan Barzani announced that “The two ruling political parties in Kurdistan Region agreed with the opposition party on setting a mechanism for dialogue over all the pending issues.”

A statement published by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan website reported that “Barham Salih, Deputy Secretary General of the PUK and the Premier Barzani visited on Wednesday the headquarter of Taghyeer Movement, the Kurdish opposition, in Sulaimaniya city where they were welcomed by Nasherwan Mustafa, the head of Taghyeer Movement besides other figures within the Movement.”

Salih said in a press conference held after that meeting “Our meeting was positive and fruitful where we discussed setting a mechanism to start the national dialogue that serves our people.”
