Kurdish MP: Settling crisis between Baghdad, Erbil starts to loom

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Abdul Bari Zibari, a leading figure within the Kurdistani Alliance stressed that resolving the recent crisis between the Central Government and the Kurdistan Region started to loom despite the fragility of the mutual confidence among the political blocs in general.

Zibari mentioned “The political process and democracy in Iraq do not endure any escalation in the tensions especially since the country needs to sustain the stability to move towards reconstruction.”

“All seek to settle the current crisis,” he added confirming “The technical-military meeting that was held between Baghdad and Erbil on last Monday represents a crucial step on way of resolving the crisis.”
