Kurdish opposition to hold meeting to discuss PUK, KDP proposals over political reform

Sulaimaniya (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdish opposition announced it will hold a meeting during the current week to respond to the proposals presented by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistani Democratic Party concerning the demands to reform the regime in Kurdistan Region.

The PUK website quoted the Kurdistani Islamic Union Undersecretary, Salah il-Din Babakir as saying “The PUK and the KDP forwarded a number of proposals about the political reform in Kurdistan Region and the demands submitted by the opposition parties (the Kurdistani Islamic Union, Taghyeer Movement, and the Islamic Group) to the Kurdistan Region President.”

“The meeting will discuss preparing a unified response by the opposition sides to be presented to the PUK and the KDP,” Babakir added.
