Kuwaiti Emir congratulates Maliki for relieving Iraq from UN’s sanctions

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kuwaiti Emir, Sabah al-Ahmad, al-Jaber al-Sabah, congratulated the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, for relieving Iraq from the Seventh Chapter of the UN’s Charter.

The Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) stated “Sabah sent a congratulatory letter to Maliki where he expressed his sincere feelings and congratulations from releasing Iraq from the UN’s sanctions.”

“Sabah wished the progress to Iraq and the good health condition to Maliki and to sustain stability in Iraq to make the Iraqis have their dreams come true,” the statement concluded.
