Logistic preparations for Anbar, Nineveh’s local elections completed, says Shirefi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced completing all the logistic preparations to conduct the general local elections in Anbar and Nineveh provinces scheduled on tomorrow, Thursday.

The special voting devoted to the security elements was conducted on last Monday at rate participation of 56% as announced by the IHEC.

The Chief of the Electoral Office at the IHEC, Muqdad al-Shirefi told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Wednesday “The logistic, administrative and the financial preparations for Anbar and Nineveh’s local elections were complemented.”

“The IHEC will identify on tomorrow, Thursday, the date of announcing the special and general polling of Anbar and Nineveh local elections,” he added.
