Maliki meets Ki-moon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki met with the UN Secretary General, Baan Ki-moon.

Informed source told Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Thursday “Maliki met with Ki-moon where they discussed the mutual efforts to relief Iraq from the UN sanctions stated in the UN Charter’s Seventh Chapter as well as discussing the developments on the Iraqi political arena and the events of the region most notably the Syrian crisis.”

The UNGS has arrived on Thursday morning to Baghdad coming from Kuwait where he was received by the Iraqi Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zibari at Baghdad international Airport.
