Mashhadani calls Iraqis to effectively participate in next PCs elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former parliament Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, called the chieftains, social figures, the Non-governmental organizations and the Iraqi citizens to effectively participate in the next Provincial Councils elections that will be held in the 10th of April, 2013.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The big problem that the Iraqis are facing is the incorrect way of electing the candidate which results in the continuity of the crises due to the existence of the unqualified officials in the political process.”

He called “The Iraqis to reject the calls that call for not participating in the next elections because they are useless.”

“The chance for the change is related to the Iraqis and they can punish the neglectful officials who failed in serving them through the elections,” he concluded.
