Masum approves death sentences to the convicts of Speicher massacre

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi President Fuad Masum on Sunday approved the death penalties of 36 people who were sentenced to death last week by an Iraqi court in connection to the killing of hundreds of Iraqi Air Force trainees in Speicher Camp.
In a statement issued by the Iraqi Presidency on Sunday said, “Iraqi President Fuad Masum has approved all the death sentences handed down in the crime of the Speicher Camp.”
It may be mentioned here that ISIS on June 12, 2014 published a video showing the mass killing of hundreds of security officers and military students at Speicher base.
