MoI: ISF arrest Mashaan al-Jubouri

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Interior Ministry announced arresting the former MP Mishaan al-Jubouri.

Spokesperson of the MoI Brigadier Saad Maan mentioned in a press statement Wednesday “The Iraqi Security Forces arrested Jubouri at his visit to a court on a former case related to integrity.”

“The arrest of Jubouri is based on an arrest warrant against him issued in 2008 for participating in killing members of Jubour tribe at the reign of the former regime,” Maan added.

It is worth to mention that Jubouri is wanted for the Interpol.
